Description

As an Order Entry Specialist at RDL, you'll be at the forefront of our customer service efforts, serving as our valued customers' primary point of contact. Your role will involve efficiently processing customer orders for RDL products, ensuring accuracy, professionalism, and timely responses. Additionally, you may be assigned other responsibilities within the company as directed by management. While direct experience in order entry is valuable, we recognize that talent comes in many forms. Key Responsibilities:

• Order Processing: Receive and process customer orders through various channels, including phone calls, online submissions, and email inquiries. Ensure that all orders are accurately recorded and fulfilled according to established procedures. 
• Professionalism: Maintain professional and customer-centric conduct when interacting with customers. Provide courteous and practical assistance to address customer inquiries, concerns, and requests. 
• Software Proficiency: Utilize enterprise and contact management software to input and manage customer order data. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and professional PDF software (e.g., Adobe Pro or Nitro Pro) is essential for this role. 
• Communication: Exhibit practical written and verbal communication skills when interacting with both customers and colleagues. Timely follow-up with customers and internal staff is critical to this position. 

Requirements

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma/GED; 2 years of experience in an order entry, bookkeeping, or customer service environment, or equivalent experience. 
• Competency in computer skills necessary to accurately operate enterprise and contact management software. 
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and professional PDF software (e.g., Adobe Pro or Nitro Pro). 
• Ability to follow work instructions in various formats, including verbal, visual, and written instructions. 
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and professionally with customers and fellow employees. 
• Willingness to work a full-time schedule as assigned. 

Physical demands while performing the job:

• Sitting for long periods of time, standing, walking, kneeling, or bending to the floor; reaching with hands and arms; and talking and/or hearing instructions. 
• Occasionally lift and/or move up to 15 pounds.

• Low noise levels in office environment.
