Radio Design Labs is Hiring a Manufacturing Lead Near Prescott, AZ

Description

The Manufacturing Lead plays a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of the manufacturing process, overseeing the production of electronic components, and ensuring quality and efficiency standards are met. This position requires strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills to coordinate production staff, resolve issues, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and analyze production problems or defects, implementing corrective actions as necessary. 
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to optimize production performance and reduce waste. 
  • Plan, schedule, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks and projects. 
  • Communicate effectively with various stakeholders, including production staff and COEs. 
  • Coordinate production activities, ensuring smooth operations and timely delivery. 
  • Resolve any arising issues or conflicts to maintain production efficiency. 
  • Utilize problem-solving skills to identify, analyze, and solve production-related problems. 

Requirements

  • Must have prior experience leading people.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience in manufacturing or production. 
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks. 
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills. 
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing, kaizen, or six sigma methodologies.
  • Experience with electronic component manufacturing, quality control, and production scheduling. 

Physical demands while performing the job:

  • Sitting, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, kneeling, or bending to the floor; reaching with hands and arms; and talking and/or hearing instructions. 
  • Eye/ Hand coordination constant welding and cutting. Occasionally Forming, swaging and inspection.
  • Occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds. 

Working environment of the job:

  • High noise levels while working near operating machines. 
  • Physical hazards while working near moving equipment and mechanical parts. 
  • Must follow personal protective equipment guidelines in all work areas.
  • Must wear appropriate footwear: Shoes that cover toes and sides of feet.
