Registered Nurse
Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing quality patient care and ensuring the well-being of our patients. This position offers opportunities to work in various healthcare settings, including home care, assisted living facilities, hospitals, and more.
Duties:
- Perform comprehensive assessments of patients' health status
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Monitor and record vital signs
- Assist with diagnostic procedures such as CT scans and ophthalmology exams
- Provide wound care and perform dressing changes
- Catheterize patients when necessary
- Administer tube feedings and assist with nutritional support
- Educate patients and their families on disease management and self-care techniques
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, including proper coding using ICD-10
Requirements:
- Valid Registered Nurse license in GA
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a clinical setting
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, procedures, and best practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
- Flexibility to work in various healthcare settings, including home care, assisted living facilities, hospitals, etc.
- Experience in emergency room (ER) settings is a plus
