Radia Medical Imaging is Hiring a Systems Administrator Near Lynnwood, WA

 

Radia is seeking a Systems Administrator. This position provides technical and IT administrative support for Radia’s internal and external customers regarding servers, desktops and supporting applications. This includes day-to-day support and administration tasks, managing projects as assigned, and back filling PC Technician duties.

Compensation: 

Hourly salary range $29.90/hour to $44.85/hour. Salary is based on multiple factors, including but not limited to job-related experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and employment status.

Responsibilities:

  • Customer Service. Provides customer service to meet service level agreements (SLAs). Proactively provides recommendations on improvements to meet SLAs.
  • Prioritization. Ensures that competing priorities are balanced so that desktop resources are used in the most effective manner possible.
  • Security. Oversees/implements systems security strategy as directed by Systems Administrator Supervisor.
  • Vendors. Provides clear guidance for systems and software vendors supporting Radia. 
  • Systems Hosting. Assists in the design, implementation and monitoring oversight and ongoing maintenance of the systems hardware and software infrastructure as developed by the Systems Engineering team.

Requirements

  • Four (4) years experience in support of Microsoft infrastructure network including workstations, servers, and networking with a minimum of 100 devices. 
  • Two (2) years of experience supporting highly available work environment on 24x7 basis. 
  • Experience in support of healthcare in general, and radiology in specific, is a plus.

Fully Competent:

  • Windows Desktop Administration: knowledge of current Windows desktop operating systems, including installing, configuring, troubleshooting, and maintaining.
  • Windows Server Administration of current Windows Server operating systems including installation, configuration, patching and maintenance. This will include administration of Active Directory, File and Print services, DHCP, DNS, Group policies and Hyper-V
  • Generalized Linux Server Administration: including installation, configuration, patching, and maintenance.
  • Networking concepts such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, LAN/WAN, and routing protocols.
  • Microsoft-related cloud technologies: Azure, Office 365, Exchange Online, One Drive, Teams.
  • PowerShell or Bash scripting.
  • VoIP based Phone systems.
  • Commodity Server Hardware experience

Knowledge of: 

  • Familiarity with security principles and best practices, as well as security solutions such as firewalls, encryption, intrusion detection and antivirus. 
  • Virtualization technologies
  • Storage technologies NAS, SAN and RAID
  • Experience with VPN Technologies such as Always ON VPN, Direct Access, or Wireguard
  • Microsoft System Center suite with a focus on SCCM and DPM.
  • SQL Server
  • Using Enterprise Backup Systems for Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity.
  • Zabbix.
  • Datacenter support systems and equipment.
