Regional Director of Census and Business Development

• Provides support to the Director of Admissions, Admissions Coordinator, and Administrators to achieve and maintain the center census goals and annual budget projections to ensure financial viability.
• Provide value in helping to expand market territory and aiding with monthly educational in services/health talks/physician speak series etc.
• Provide leadership and guidance to new and existing Admission team members on PCC training, Referral Handling, and Admission Agreement training.
• Partner with the center and organization leadership in developing strategies to maximize conversion of referrals to admissions.
• Assist the Dir of CD and Branding with Quarterly Educational Meeting's focused on data metrics to help increase business opportunities for all CCR centers
• Pivotal in training new and existing Admission Directors on referral generation techniques with new and existing referral sources including but not limited to hospital case managers, community referral sources (home health and hospice)
• Partner with organizations/leadership in updating Admissions policies and procedures and communicate the changes in an efficient and timely manner.
• Must possess the ability to seek out new methods and resources and be willing to incorporate them into existing practices.
• In times of need, be available to help and assist with any CCR location
• Identify current Managed Care and Physician needs, and work with Administrator on strategy and follow through on plans during each center visit.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and (10) years' experience in the SNF admissions process, and (10) sales/marketing in the health care field
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills including public speaking.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Must always possess appropriate professional demeanor.
• Must have excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Must be proficient in computer skills including Word, Excel, Power Point and Electronic Discharge Products.
• Must be able to work independently and possess exceptional team building and people skills.
• Able to prioritize and manage time effectively.
• Must maintain knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and other payer regulations and referral development reimbursement. Be knowledgeable of center market and changes.
• Ability to work flexible hours.
• Must be flexible, detail-oriented, and be able to make effective decisions and work as part of a service excellence team.
