Initial Goals and Objectives:
The primary responsibility of the Service Sales Representative is to listen to the customer to determine what their needs are and to provide solutions to meet those needs through establishing a relationship based on trust and confidence on the part of the customer.
Key Responsibilities and Duties:
• Ensure that the solutions recommended meeting the needs of the client.
• Qualify prospects to ensure they have the authority and ability to make a purchasing commitment.
• Obtain sales goals established at specified margins.
• Establish trust and rapport with the client.
• Maintain an active prospecting process to fill pipeline consistently over time
• Participate in pertinent associations to enhance client relationships and facilitate prospecting.
• Maintain required information in CRM database necessary to prepare ongoing call reporting and provide documentation of tasks, calls, meetings, emails, etc. performed related to current and potential customers.
• Ensure that clients understand the value of preventive maintenance services.
• Visit the job sites periodically to help evaluate the quality of installation and compliance with scope.
• Prepare and deliver proposals and roof surveys.
• Obtain management approval of all proposals prior to delivering to the client is required.
• Perform post-project interviews with clients.
• Prepare a scope package that includes a full written description of the project including a detailed roof map, photographs, measurements, location of penetrations, and other pertinent information necessary to develop an accurate cost estimate.
• Perform roof surveys and analysis.
• Experience with various commercial roof installations and roof repairs.
• Ability to carry and climb ladders, confidence on rooftop, ability to take roof samples (cores) and to thoroughly document roof conditions, measurements, etc.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
