Come join our team! Now hiring full-time 35 hour/week Teaching Assistant to work with preschool children with autism in a specialized classroom program. Will receive training related to Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) to support the strengths and needs of students. Will be responsible for working one-on-one with each of six children on a rotating basis, facilitating each child's participation in group activities throughout the day, working on self-help skills, participating in data collection and analysis, preparing classroom and instructional materials, troubleshooting with the teacher, leading classroom activities when teacher is absent, and participating in ongoing staff training and collaboration. Great opportunity for learning and advancement. Experience with ABA or in special education is preferred. A love of children and an openness to learning are musts.
