You and Your Job

As a Customer Relationship Specialist Team Lead, you will have an opportunity to lead geographically dispersed, highly skilled, highly motivated teams responsible for loan origination activities including loan documentation and closings of complex agricultural loans.

As a Customer Relationship Specialist Team Lead, you will not only be instrumental to the success of the Customer Relationship Specialist teams you support, but also impact the success of the sector you support and our clients.

The Customer Relationship Specialists are responsible for ensuring the loan origination activities, loan documentation and closings are completed in alignment with approvals, processes and regional & regulatory requirements while providing superior customer service. Coordinating activities with internal and external partners is key. The Customer Relationship Specialist Team Lead will work closely with the Closing Manager and provide oversight of workload, deal status and quality while providing the team with the support, training and coaching needed to be successful in the role. In an ever-changing environment, agility and ability to positively support and implement change will be key.

Job Responsibilities

  • Assigns work and monitors workflow of direct reports to ensure all functions related to loan origination and ongoing life of loan processes are performed timely, with excellent customer service as the key driver. Assists staff in completing tasks as needed.
  • Coaches, trains, and supervises the training of new hires and existing CRS staff.
  • Maintains and improves product quality through involvement with internal/external audits and collaboration with other members of management on quality-related initiatives.
  • Communicates directly with internal departments and third parties (Outside Counsel, Title Companies, etc.) as needed to meet all conditions of loan approval and documentation.
  • Establishes and maintains processes and procedures for closing lending products and services in accordance with company policy, for having loan files reviewed pre-closing to assure documentation accuracy and compliance with loan terms as negotiated, and for life of loan servicing actions.

Your Promise to Us:

To be considered for the Customer Relationship Specialist Team Lead role, you must have:

  • Bachelor's Degree in related field or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 5 years of Ag Lending, Loan Documentation, Closing & Loan Processing experience.
  • Ability to travel regionally, up to 15%

Salary Expectations:

Target Hiring Range: $89,000.00 - $100,000.00

This position is subject to the terms of Rabobank’s compensation plans and policies. It is anticipated that the position will pay within the target hiring range. The range is reflective of the desired primary physical work location and may be adjusted outside of the projected range based on geographical differentiation if the actual work location of the hired candidate differs from the desired primary location, or for other lawful reasons. Further, all full-time regular positions include all other benefits provided to Rabobank employees, including healthcare benefits, 401k matching, vacation, sick leave, parental leave, possible discretionary bonuses and all other benefits that are all governed by and subject to ERISA plan documents and eligibility.
