COUNTER SALES

R&E Supply is looking for great Counter Sales candidates for our Conway location. Are you looking for a team environment where everyone works together to get the job done and provide great customer service? Do you want a regular Monday thru Friday schedule without having to work nights or weekends (or holidays)? Do you want to align yourself with a HVAC distribution company that is aggressive and growing? A DAY IN THE LIFE OF COUNTER SALES

Customers trust you and you will do what it takes to solve their problems and help them succeed. Your product knowledge grows daily and so does your ability to offer the right solutions. You take pride in the customer relationships you have cultivated. You work hard to earn the customer's trust and loyalty. You are busy and stay organized to make sure all the details get handled. You know how to be positive and professional even when things get intense. Fortunately, you have a great team to back you up. When you have time, you help receive and put-up inventory and keep the store organized and clean. You are great at counter sales and might make it a career, or you may decide to someday become a Store Manager or move into Outside Sales. As you learn the products and the Company grows, you know there will be many opportunities for you. Below is a list of responsibilities for Counter sales.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Foster an environment of teamwork and treat customer and co-workers in a friendly, helpful, and respectful manner.
  • Develop good working relationships with customers and build trust and rapport. Be professional and create a positive customer experience.
  • Answer incoming telephone calls or texts and greet customers who walk in the store. Be willing to multitask and make sure every customer is acknowledged.
  • Utilize point-of-sale computer system to confirm inventory, quote, process orders and payments, and process customer returns and warranties.
  • Assist customers in making product selections by asking questions and actively listening to customer needs. Assist with product troubleshooting and when appropriate recommend alternate products.
  • Research and source products for customers using a variety of tools.
  • Follow up promptly on all customer requests. With respect to special orders, proactively communicate with customers about any issues with their order.
  • Maintain high standards in cleanliness and appearance of the showroom through stocking shelves, housekeeping, creating displays, etc.
  • Solve customer complaints in a timely manner that balances customer requests with business needs.

  • Exceptional customer service skills.
  • Willing to take initiative to learn and able to perform tasks with accuracy.
  • Work well in a team environment.
  • Basic computer and math skills.

Hourly pay starts at $14, or more for candidates with relevant industry experience. A new employee bonus of $500 will be paid. Benefits include health, dental, vision, life insurance, 401K with company contribution, paid time off, and holiday pay. Company shirts provided.
