JOB DESCRIPTION:

The ideal candidate will play a key role in supporting and participating with Company Managers in providing analysis and reports to help set strategies for growth and profit.

We specialize in warehousing, ecommerce fulfillment, pool distribution, consolidation, deconsolidation, store and at home deliveries and port drayage. QX Logistix supports many of the largest retail, manufacturers, and ecommerce businesses in the country. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Complex Financial Analysis of Customer Revenue
  • Budget building for associated business lines and the overall business
  • Productivity analysis by Business Unit and customer
  • Modeling labor and equipment requirements
  • Building models outlining monthly forecasting by business line
  • Analyze trends, research variances and present financial results to senior management
  • Recommend and implement improvements to drive efficiencies into the process and reporting accuracy
  • Budget building for associated business lines and the overall business
  • Participate in preparation of various senior management presentations
  • Work closely with Business Units to modify, reconcile, and build KPI dashboards for monthly reporting to customers
  • Tackle ad-hoc projects, including deep-dive in ROI and expense analysis
  • Vendor engagement for subcontracting opportunities and other special projects
  • Build business cases and pricing models to support customer RFPs
  • Work with Chief Commercial Officer for deal qualification and vetting on prospective opportunities

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree (preferably in Business, Finance, or Accounting)
  • 3-5 years of experience in Financial Analysis
  • Good business judgment and ability to synthesize, analyze and extract implications from data
  • Experience with building excel-based forecasting and planning models
  • Strong attention to detail, problem solving, decision making, and continuous improvement skills
  • Working knowledge of fundamental accounting principles
  • Experience with executive communication, partnering in a matrix organization, and strong technical skills
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment and under tight deadlines

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Highly skilled in excel and building operating models**
  • Fundamental understanding of finance and accounting**
