As a Junior Designer for quip’s Marketing / Brand Design teams, you’ll work hand-in-glove with the Art Directors and Design Team on finalizing campaign work for final production / execution, ensuring we execute at a premium quality, whether in a digital or print format. This role is an important position for enabling creative excellence as it will play a critical role in connecting all the pieces of our creative organization with an initial focus on Brand Design.

You will work closely with the Creative Leads for Brand Design and Retail to provide day-to-day creative support for core asset creation. This will include managing dielines, prepping production ready files in support of a physical print process, ensuring files are prepped for localization (in the event of international growth), managing the imagery post-production process and driving delivery of assets at the teams’ specifications for various channels of use (Social, Lifecycle, PR, Paid Media).

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Use ofknowledge around composition and other design elements to create print and digital media that lives across various platforms from online to in store
• Implement and manage a flexible post production process to help support the high demand of asset needs to the larger organization
• Work directly with the DAM lead to upload content, manage versions and ensure that the most recent content is available for use
• Support designers and art directors on final file preparation working in various programs (INDD, AI, PS, Contentful, Figma)
• Work with the Creative Producers to share out files to 3rd party production partners
• Manage proofing of final files before sending out to production partners

REQUIREMENTS

• 3 years of experience in a similar role or in graphic design, packaging or digital asset production environments
• Experience as part of a Creative Studio / Agency, in-house Creative team or ideally from a print production facility
• Strong understanding of color, typography, composition and production processes
• Demonstrated track record of partnering with various stakeholders for a successful deliver
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience in design, preferred
