About the role

Quilt is a high-growth startup on a mission to move humanity off of fossil fuel heating to fight climate change. We’re building the next generation, beautifully designed ductless heat pumps and a delightful customer experience. 

We are seeking experienced candidates with a desire to grow to lead the electrical work for installations of our ductless mini split heat pumps. We are a customer-focused company and top-tier customer service is as much a part of the job as technical skills.

Qualifications

• 4 years of experience as an electrician at journeyman-level or higher.
• General or Residential Electrician certification is required. 
• Experience with Bay Area building codes.
• Good attitude and strong work ethic.
• Excellent English communication and customer service skills.
• Able to lift 30 pounds, stand, bend, stoop, reach and climb ladders.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to pass background check and drug screen required.
• Authorized to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Lead residential electrical work for our ductless mini split installations from planning to successful completion, incl. running 240V circuits, installing sub panels, performing panel upgrades and supervising service upgrades.
• Deliver an amazing experience for our customers.
• Ensure site safety and compliance with codes.
• Conduct quality control checks on jobs to ensure high-quality results.

This role is a full-time, onsite position based out of our Redwood City headquarters and located at customer sites across the Bay Area.
