JOB SUMMARY:
Reporting to the Contact Center Manager, the Customer Contact Specialist is the first point of contact for customer inquiries and requests. The Customer Contact Specialist is responsible for incoming/outbound customer calls and utilizes company policy to solve concerns, and direct calls to appropriate department/person.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Answer calls in a busy Call Center environment while providing a world class phone experience.
  • Obtains client information by answering telephone calls, interviewing clients, and verifying information.
  • Triage calls and directs to appropriate department/individual.
  • Inform clients by explaining procedures, answering questions, and providing information.
  • Maintains and improves quality results by adhering to standards and guidelines.
  • Determines eligibility by comparing client information to requirements.
  • Make outbound calls to schedule, reschedule, or cancel appointments.
  • Demonstrate concern for a patient’s problems and put the patient at ease.
  • Handle online correspondence in a professional manner.
  • Comply with all HIPPA regulations in all interactions with patient information.
  • Other related duties as assigned.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • High School diploma/GED equivalent
  • Phone skills
  • 1-2 years previous experience in Call Center environment
  • Excellent inter-personal and verbal communication skills
  • Basic insurance knowledge
  • Proficient in computer programs and navigating a computer effectively
  • Previous clinical or medical office experience preferred
  • Bi-lingual a plus
  • Strong problem solving skills
