Position

Branch Manager

Summary

The Branch Manager will be responsible for sales activities withinan assigned district and all operational aspects of the branch.

This position involves organizing motivating and leading a salesteam to reach sales targets. The Branch Manager also servicesexisting accounts managing distributors obtains orders andestablishes new accounts by planning and organizing daily workschedule to call on existing or potential sales outlets and othertrade factors.

EssentialDuties

1. Achieve targetedrevenue profit and growth targets established by the company on anannual and quarterly basis.

2. Manage daytoday operationof the branch.

3. Prospecting for new customersutilizing a wide variety of methods and approach.

4.Cold calling to generate customer meetings as needed.

5.Meets regional sales financial objectives by forecastingrequirements; preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures;

analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions.

6.Establishes sales objectives by creating a sales plan and quota fordistricts in support of national objectives.

7.Maintains and expands customer base by counselingdistributors.

8. Maintains good relationships withvenders.

9. Recommends product lines by identifying newproduct opportunities and / or service changes; surveying customerneeds and trends; tracking competitors.

10. Implementstrade promotions by exhibiting at tradeshows and evaluating tradespending.

11. Prepare and deliver salesproposals / presentations and follow up with distributors and keydecision makers.

12. Regularly communicate withManagement Team to review weekly sales activities and status ofprospective customers plans to meet sales goals and status ondeadlines.

13. Active networking in industryorganizations and circles.

14. Maintain currentawareness of supply and demand changing trends economic indicatorsand competitors.

15. Maintain professional and technicalknowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewingprofessional publications;

establishing personal networks;participating in professional societies.

16. Monitorscompetition by gathering current marketplace information on pricingproducts new products delivery schedules merchandising techniquesetc.

17. Recommend changes in products service andpolicy by evaluating results and competitivedevelopments.

18. Resolve customer complaints byinvestigating problems; developing solutions; preparing reports;making recommendations to management.

19. Perform allother duties as assigned by the Management Team.

Qualifications

Education Required

Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Mechanical Engineeringor related field preferred.

GeneralQualifications

1. Legally eligible to work in the UnitedStates.

2. Minimum 5 years outside sales experience witha proven track record of success.

3. Minimum 2 years ofexperience in management.

4. Good driving record. Mustbe able to read and speak the English language well enough tocommunicate understand and respond to questions directions trafficsigns signals and training.
