Quick Illinois, Inc. is hiring a full-time Warehouse Mechanic Technician at our Morris, IL location. This is a Union position with Laborers Local 681.

Position : Warehouse Mechanic Technician

Position Overview

As the Warehouse Mechanic Technician, you will perform repair work and maintenance for Company vehicles and equipment.

Duties / Responsibilities :

• Identifies mechanical problems
• Performs tests on specific parts and systems to confirm proper mechanical function; ensures that all critical parts are examined.
• Performs routine and preventive maintenance, including oil changes and tune-ups.
• Repairs or replaces malfunctioning parts and systems, such as brake pads, belts, water pumps, transmissions, and other mechanical parts.
• Performs further tests, which may include test driving the vehicle, to ensure repairs are completed correctly.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Job Requirements / Qualifications :

• Master technician certification from the National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence required.
• Three to five years of related experience required.
• Extensive knowledge of all aspects of vehicle repair.
• Excellent mechanical repair skills.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to visually diagnose mechanical issues.
• Ability to read service and repair manuals.
• Ability to regularly lift 50-100 pounds.
