The Mechanic Technician II performs preventative maintenance and routine repairs to a facility's systems and equipment. Maintains and services a facility's mechanical equipment, control systems, power distribution systems, and HVAC systems. Being a Mechanic Technician II uses technical diagrams, blueprints, and schematics to install, troubleshoot, calibrate, and repair equipment, engines, and compressors. Conducts periodic safety and maintenance inspections to evaluate equipment for replacement and identify wear and damage.
