Maintenance Technician

Schedule: Monday - Friday 6:30am to 3:00pm (on call every other weekend)

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00/hour

Location: Orlando, FL

Position Overview: Quest, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician to ensure the proper upkeep of facilities and equipment. This role involves conducting inspections, repairs, and preventive maintenance tasks across various systems. Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct basic maintenance tasks such as plumbing, electrical, painting, carpentry, appliance/equipment installation and maintenance, construction, and minor automotive repairs.
• Independently coordinate, prioritize, and complete work orders and special projects in a cost-efficient manner.
• Provide courteous and professional customer service to maintain positive relationships with staff and management.
• Participate in an on-call rotation for emergency maintenance needs during nights and weekends.
• Perform preventive maintenance tasks at various locations, including HVAC systems, septic and water systems, and vehicle maintenance.
• Handle minor repairs and troubleshooting of company vehicles, including transportation of vehicles as needed.
• Liaise and coordinate with vendors and subcontractors.
• Move, assemble, and disassemble furniture, equipment, and appliances.
• Repair and maintain all tools and equipment.
• Ensure that projects are completed thoroughly and that work areas are clean before leaving any facility.
• Manage electronic work orders and document completion in a computer database.
• Attend training programs for certification as directed by the Director of Maintenance and Fleet.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Must be 18 years or older with a high school diploma.
• Florida Driver’s License in good standing.
• HVAC certification highly preferred.
• Groundskeeper or related experience required.
• Able to work in the U.S. and not require visa sponsorship.
• Read, write, and understand directions in English.
• Ability to lift/carry up to 50 lbs. without assistance.
