Quest Global is Hiring a Controls Engineer Near Longmont, CO
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Design and develop control systems for industrial automation processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and ensure the control system meets those requirements.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation for control systems.
- Troubleshoot technical issues with control systems and provide effective solutions.
- Participate in the testing and commissioning of control systems at customer sites.
- Provide technical support for ongoing projects and customer service
- Continuously improve control system design and programming practices.
- Represent the company in discussions with customers and industry experts.
Required Skills (Technical Competency):
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in control system design and development.
- Strong understanding of control systems, including programmable logic controllers (PLCs), human-machine interfaces (HMIs), and industrial networking protocols.
- Knowledge of programming languages commonly used in control.
- systems, such as ladder logic and/or functional block diagram.
- Familiarity with electrical and control system design, including schematic capture and circuit design.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a global team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
