Job Duties
  • Data entry of test orders
  • Sort, pick up, and deliver processed specimens to the laboratory
  • Identifies problems and in some cases, resolves issues with specimens, such as missing information, etc.
  • Research test ordering information on translation tables, computer systems, and the directory of services
Required Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
Work Experience
  • Keyboard/data entry experience
  • Specimen handling preferred
  • Prefer one year experience in a hospital or laboratory setting
