Overview

This individual will have the opportunity to work with other engineers and subject matter experts to solve real problems for our users. You will be working with multiple scrum teams and provide data engineering expertise and guidance. This is a critical position for Pack Health, which is a high-growth company building a new model of delivering health care. Responsibilities

• Work with a team of data engineers, collectively responsible for all database administration, data warehousing, and data modeling.
• Work with scrum teams to provide data engineering expertise/guidance.
• Take ownership of small and medium size data engineering projects.
• Maintain scalable data solutions/pipelines that satisfy business needs while adhering to best practices for data governance/quality.
• Research, present, implement and train on additional data technologies to meet future needs.
• Build and monitor solutions for data health checks to ensure the overall health of our data landscape while optimizing resources.

Qualifications

Education Required:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, a related field or equivalent work experience.

Required Experience:

• Three or more years of relevant experience with database management tools and data centric applications.
• Experience in building/maintaining warehouse solutions and supporting B.I. solutions.
• Expertise with ETL/ELT solutions.
• Experience in creating scalable data-driven solutions supporting large datasets.

Preferred Work Experience:

• Healthcare Industry Experience

Skills Needed:

• Direct experience with AWS RDS and PostgreSQL a plus.
• Familiarity with Looker a plus.
• Familiarity with Xplenty a plus.
• Ability to own data engineering projects and work with team members to complete them.
• Strong problem solving, oral, and written communication skills.
