Quartz is seeking two interns to join our Project Management Office team from June – August 2023. This paid internship will offer valuable experience and growth opportunities to prepare you for the next steps in your career. At the end of the internship program, successful interns will have the possibility of being offered a full-time position with our rotational development program, starting after graduation. Our rotational development program consists of entry-level, full-time positions that allow new hires to explore different areas within the organization and continue to grow and enhance their skills with continued mentorship and purposeful work.

Responsibilities

• Support Project Managers with projects by coordinating meetings, including agenda preparation and documentation of meeting discussions, decisions, issues, and follow up items for future reference or for audit requirements.
• Assist in the development of initial project documents (i.e., charters, milestone plans, risk management plans, etc.) after discussing desired project deliverables with the Project Sponsor.
• Support Team Dynamix Admin in the tools administrations and providing support such as access requests, report creation, and troubleshooting.

Qualifications

• Students pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Business Management, Communications, Leadership, or Change Management
• Students entering their final year of studies in Fall 2023, with expected graduation in May 2024 are ideal candidates
• Previous internship experience or other work experience preferred
• Ability to work 40 hours/week throughout 11-week program
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to use critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Effectively contributes and thrives in a collaborative, team-oriented work environment
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5

We offer a competitive salary and a friendly, team-oriented work environment. This position can work 100% remotely or from our offices in Madison, WI or Onalaska, WI in a hybrid or full-time on-site arrangement, if preferred. Hardware and equipment will be provided by the company, but candidates must have access to high-speed, non-satellite Internet to successfully work from home.
