Overview:

Quantum Research International, Inc. (Quantum) is a certified DoD Contractor providing services and products to US/Allied governments and industry in the following main areas: (1) Cybersecurity, High Performance Computing Systems, Cloud Services and Systems; (2) Space and Ground Support Systems; (3) Aviation Systems; (4) Missile Systems; (5) Artificial Intelligence/ Machine Learning Systems and Experimentation/Training; and (6) Audio Visual Systems and Services. Quantum's Corporate Office is in Huntsville, AL, but Quantum actively hires for positions nationwide and internationally. In addition to our corporate office, we have physical locations in Aberdeen; MD; Colorado Springs, CO; Orlando, FL; Crestview, FL; Madison, AL, and Tupelo, MS.

Mission:

Quantum Research International is currently seeking a highly qualified individual to provide professional support as a Sector Manager. The Sector Manager will report to the Quantum Chief Operating Officer (COO) and shall be responsible for providing the vision, strategy, and leadership to achieve customer commitments, meet company expectations, and achieve growth expectations across the Sector. Foster a culture of innovative problem solving, performance excellence, and continuous improvement to deliver affordable, effective, and dependable outcomes. Responsible for the performance and growth of multiple programs.

Responsibilities:

  • Help lead the daily operations of a complex team that includes the requirements analysis and integration of several functional areas.
  • Develop new ideas to support the strategic direction of Quantum and Government customers.
  • Assist with program proposals to guarantee uninterrupted delivery of support.
  • Brief Quantum leadership and the Government customers on program cost, schedule, performance, and risk.
  • Work with Government customers to develop and maintain budgets and plans for the program.
  • Interact with command leadership and prepare and brief accurate organizational and manpower products in a timely and succinct manner.
  • Prepare point papers, issue papers, PowerPoint briefing slides, manpower spreadsheets and comprehensive staff packages.
  • Plan and facilitate execution of strategic organizational and manpower activities in support of a geographically separated team.
  • Conduct and lead risk management and mitigation and lead the risk mitigation strategies.
  • Coordinate and submit the Contract Data Requirements Lists (CDRLs).
  • Enforce work standards, assign contractor schedules, review work discrepancies, and communicate policies, purposes, and goals of the organization.
  • Hire, manage, and evaluate contract personnel.
  • Formulate, review, and approve task plans and deliverables in accordance with Government and corporate approved plans.
  • Develop and instill a pro-active, collaborative environment and culture for personnel to enhance government operations.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 18 Years’ experience in managing large, complex programs.
  • Successful completion of at least four (4) years as Program and Project Manager (Military or Civilian).
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
  • Ability to effectively interact with senior leaders.
  • Ability to analyze data and identify trends.
  • Resourceful self-starter with exceptional problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills; ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Experience coordinating, executing, assigning, and prioritizing staff and schedules for the execution of simultaneous projects and activities.
  • Experience and/or knowledge in weapon systems and/or communications systems and lab and operational testing
  • Active Top Secret (TS) clearance, ability to get and maintain Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI).

Desired Skills and Qualifications:

  • Master’s Degree or PhD
