Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Financial Analyst to join our Financial/Accounting team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing financial data, creating financial models, and providing insights to support strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

1) Current Month Revenue Analysis:

-Ongoing weekly revenue analysis, focusing on sales and marketing metrics.

-Maintain a revenue scorecard to track performance against targets.

-Initiate and maintain weekly Marketing analysis to enhance our understanding of results such as leads per campaigns, per location, qualified x non-qualified leads, return on investment on each marketing spending source and thereby optimizing our marketing strategy.

-Work closely with the sales team and marketing vendors to understand market trends and their results

2)Accounting Month-end and Year-end Closing:

-Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes, including journal entries, accruals, reconciliations and reporting

-Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial plans and variance analysis

-Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data and maintain proper documentation.

3)Monthly Financial Analysis:

-Conduct comprehensive financial analysis at the end of each month to assess company performance

-Prepare detailed financial reports and analyses

-Provide real-time financial insights and projections to support business decisions

-Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide recommendations for improvement

-Conduct research on industry trends and best practices in financial analysis

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field

- Master’s degree is a plus

- Proven experience as Financial Analyst or related field (minimum of 2 years)

- Strong knowledge of financial planning, corporate accounting principals

- Proficiency in Excel, data analysis and reporting

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in reporting

- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
