Job Summary the Continuous Improvement Lead supports the development of the Quantix continuous improvement culture in all team members across Quantix actively promoting and facilitating the use of continuous improvement methods to support new business and existing operations. Using knowledge of process optimization, tools, and data analysis, this position will interface with team members at all levels and various functions across the Quantix organization. You thrive in optimizing processes by constantly designing, experimenting, and analyzing data. In partnership with Operations, Sales, Shared Services, Safety, Quality, and Executive Leadership, you will drive Quantix efficiency and service improvements. Your toolkit includes a variety of continuous improvement methods and strong inquisitive capabilities. Job Requirements

Summary of essential job functions

· Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.

· Provide functional leadership in a variety of process improvement and development techniques, program management, operational excellence, statistical tools, and problem-solving.

· Map and document processes.

· Independently identify process gaps; recommend and implement process improvement.

· Develop a thorough, effective, and timely continuous improvement plan to address the top business needs for Quantix Develop scalable solutions and key performance indicators to monitor and improve operations performance.

· Drive process improvement activities to achieve dramatic improvement in the key business metrics of safety, delivery, cost, and employee development.

· Align customer service activities and initiatives to support and enhance the objectives of the overall organization, driving customer satisfaction.

· Engage with safety and quality on non-conformance reporting, training, and root cause analysis.

· Complete event planning, perform pre-work, and facilitate team engagement to support new operational start-ups, acquisition integrations, facility expansions, and other projects as needed.

· Innovate on behalf of Quantix by empowering team members with the tools, time, and focus to constantly meet and exceed our customers& expectations.

· Lead cross-functional teams to identify the biggest opportunities to reduce costs, root cause problems, identify data and forecasting needs, and implement product or process changes to fix them.

· Audit processes and drive improvements to prevent backsliding and maintain compliance.

· Develop and implement quality metrics across the organization

Skills:

· Map processes using value stream mapping, SIPOC, process flow charts, and other similar tools

· Identify process improvement opportunities, justify projects using ROI, NPV, and payback period as well as manage a pipeline of improvement projects using sound project management fundamentals of scope, schedule, budget, or A3, PDCA Develop training modules from improvement projects and training operators of the process

· Collect data on processes, QNs and claims, analyze the data and leverage metrics to make data-driven recommendations on improvement projects

· Utilize RCA tools and problem-solving methods such as fishbone diagrams, Apollo method, tap root, DMAIC, 8d, lean, kaizen, and A3 to define problems, improve processes, and verify results

· Develop process audit plans and standard audit procedures to verify processes are being followed, identify improvement opportunities, and validate prior improvement project changes

Requirements

Minimum Qualification requirements

· Bachelor’s degree in engineering, mathematics, or physics

· 5 years of experience in Continuous Improvement in various industries with increasing level of responsibility

· Very strong knowledge of the transportation/logistics industry, technologies, and processes

· Extensive knowledge of business process improvement and project management initiatives, tools, and processes

· Continuous improvement mentality and ability to drive change and provide creative solutions

· Intermediate to advanced skills in MS Outlook, Excel, Power B.I., Visio, OneNote, PowerPoint, Word, SharePoint, and TMT Experience preferred

· Solid understanding of applicable transportation regulations and safety protocols

· Clearly, concisely, and respectfully communicate with internal and external shareholders

· Able to interact with employees at all levels of the organization

· Certified Six Sigma Greenbelt, black belt preferred

· Certified Quality Engineer preferred

· Lead Certified Quality Auditor preferred

· On-site required
