As an Operations Analyst (Overnight Shift), you will be responsible for supervising the operational efficiency of our trading algorithms. We measure operational efficiency based on risk management. Risk management means taking all necessary precautions to avoid significant losses from algorithm operation. You will work closely with our trading team to understand the necessary conditions for profitable algorithm operation.

Job Responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor algorithm operations in real time
• Identify the expected profit variance for each product and understand when to invoke escalation protocols
• Determine the different types of business risk, and effectively communicate these risks across teams
• Understand and adhere to the rules and regulations set by various exchanges
• Support the release of new trading algorithms by observing and reporting irregularities to the trading team
• Track and anticipate the implications of various important dates on the behavior of the algorithms
• Demonstrate knowledge of operating procedures following the issuance of company reports, global news, and media influence

Qualifications:

• Attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational skills
• An undergraduate or graduate degree is a plus
• Proficiency in mathematics is a plus
