What are we looking for: Assembler

Quantic Evans is manufacturer of high-density capacitors for use in defense, telecommunications, industrial and various high-reliability applications, has an immediate opening for an Assembler in our East Providence, RI Location. The Assembler will be responsible for the assembly or sub-assembly of electronic and electromechanical parts and components.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the assembly or sub-assembly of electronic and electromechanical parts and components.
• Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, specifications, etc.
• Installs, mounts, fastens, aligns, and adjusts parts, components, wiring, and harnesses.
• May replace and repair defective or rejected components.
• Maintains record of assembly process, progress, and problems
• Utilizes appropriate hand tools and machines to assemble products.
• Examines and tests assembly at various stages of production in order to identify errors. Discards or corrects assembly when appropriate.

Requirements

Criteria for Success:

• Must possess a collaborative team-oriented mindset and personality with a hands-on can-do attitude.
• High School Diploma - Required
• 1-3 years of assembly experience.
• Prior Experience in Manufacturing environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, i.e., Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams and PowerPoint.
• Experience with ERP systems a plus
• Willing and able to learn other applications as needed.
