RESPONSIBILITIES:

• As a Maintenance Director, your primary responsibility is overseeing the maintenance, upkeep, and repair of the facility and grounds.
• Develop and implement repair and maintenance schedules for all areas of the facility and the grounds
• Interview, train, and supervise any maintenance team staff
• Assure that maintenance personnel are performing assigned tasks in accordance with established maintenance procedures
• Supervise repair scheduled and any maintenance by outside contractors
• Oversee maintenance and waste disposal procedures
• Maintain materials safety data sheets (MSDS)
• Identify areas and equipment in need of repair, report to administration, and schedule maintenance
• Maintain all logs in a neat and organized manner

REQUIREMENTS:

• Management or supervisory experience preferred.
• Experience in Maintenance, Housekeeping, or Environmental Services helpful.
• Experience in long-term care helpful.
• Reliable transportation required.
