Position: Cardiac Cath Lab RN
Job Description:
The Cardiac Cath Lab RN demonstrates highly advanced skills in patient assessment/intervention, teamwork, and crisis management. The facility has eight Cath Lab Same Day Surgery rooms and four Cardiac Cath Lab procedure rooms, with a team of nine cardiologists, seven of whom are interventionalists. As an RN in the Cardiac Cath Lab, you will have the opportunity to join our amazing team and deliver professional and compassionate care.
Essential Functions:
- Collaboration with other health professionals, assessment, and analyzing assessment data
- Establishing goals, planning care strategy, establishing priorities of care, and implementing care
- Delegating tasks safely, providing safe direct and indirect nursing care, and evaluating responses to interventions
- Performing additional nursing functions in accordance with knowledge and skills acquired beyond basic nursing preparation
Requirements:
- Diploma or Associate's Degree (ADN) - Required
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) - Preferred
- Master's of Science in Nursing (MSN) - Preferred
- Knowledge of hemodynamics, basic arrhythmia, basic pharmacology, and at least 1 year of previous experience in critical care, pre/post-op, surgery, or emergency medicine - Required
- BLS Certification - Required
- ACLS Certification - Required
