The Cardiac Cath Lab RN demonstrates highly advanced skills in patient assessment/intervention, teamwork, and crisis management. The department consists of eight Cath Lab Same Day Surgery rooms and four Cardiac Cath Lab procedure rooms, staffed by nine cardiologists, seven of whom are interventionalists. 
We provide a comprehensive orientation program for new nurses, including an 8-12 week orientation with a dedicated preceptor team. Essential functions of the RN role include, but are not limited to:
- Collaborating with other health professionals and analyzing assessment data
- Establishing goals, planning care strategy, and prioritizing care
- Implementing care and delegating tasks safely
- Providing safe direct and indirect nursing care
- Evaluating responses to interventions
- Performing additional nursing functions based on acquired knowledge and skills

Requirements:
- Diploma or Associate's Degree (ADN) - Required
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) - Preferred
- Master's of Science in Nursing (MSN) - Preferred
- Knowledge of hemodynamics, basic arrhythmia, basic pharmacology
- Minimum 1 year of previous experience in critical care, pre/post op, surgery, or emergency medicine
- BLS certification required
- ACLS certification required
Schedule:
- On-call: 1 weekday of call and 1 weekend of call every 4th to 5th weekend
- Weekend schedule: To be determined
