We're looking for RNs for an immediate travel nurse opening. The right RN should have 2 years or more of recent experience.

As a Travel Nurse, you should be prepared to perform the following tasks:

• Provide basic bedside care.
• Monitor and adjust specialized equipment used on patients.
• Initiate corrective action whenever information from monitoring equipment shows adverse symptomatology!
• Able to stand and walk for long periods of time, as well as bend, lean and stoop without difficulty.
• Able to easily lift 20 pounds. Moving or lifting of patients may require lifting of up to 50 pounds at times.

This is a high acuity, fast-paced unit that requires teamwork and strong communication skills. First Time Travelers Accepted. Travelers will be expected to float.

Operating Room Nurse

We are seeking highly skilled and experienced Operating Room Nurses to join our team. As an Operating Room Nurse, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care throughout the surgical process. This includes assessing, planning, and implementing nursing care before, during, and after surgery. Strong skills in vascular surgery and orthopedic surgery are essential for this position. The ideal candidate will be a team player and thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Job Details:

- Patient Population: Pediatric-Adult

- EMR: Cerner

- Operating Rooms: 14 rooms with coverage in Labor Delivery for C-sections

- Types of Procedures: Currently provide care in all surgical specialties except cardiac and ophthalmology

- Average Procedures per Day: 50

Responsibilities:

- Conduct patient assessments and develop individualized care plans

- Create and maintain a sterile and safe surgical environment

- Provide pre and post-operative patient education

- Monitor the physical and emotional well-being of patients

- Coordinate and integrate patient care throughout the surgical care continuum

Requirements:

- 2 years of current operating room experience

- Strong experience in general, orthopedic, and vascular surgeries (Director confirmed)

- Valid BLS certification (AHA)

- State license: New York

Submission Requirements:

- 2 years of current operating room experience

- COVID vaccinations required. Medical exemptions subject to review and must be on GFH specific form; email Scott W for document.

- Religious exemptions not accepted in accordance with NYS guidelines.

On-Call:
