Position: Adolescent Behavioral Health Licensed Practical Nurse Salary Range: Min Pay: $22.66/hour (with 0 years of experience) - Max Pay: $34.04/hour (with 24 years of experience) The Brattleboro Retreat is among the most respected psychiatric and addiction treatment hospitals in the northeast. Job Responsibilities: - Utilize the nursing process to assess, implement, and evaluate patient/family care. - Provide nursing care (including the administration of medication) to meet patients' needs. - Participate in the development and maintenance of a safe and therapeutic milieu in assigned care area. - Adhere to and implement organizational and departmental policies and procedures as they pertain to the work area. - Perform constant observations, intermittent observations, specializing checks, or other forms of patient safety procedures as assigned. - Share information appropriately with members of the multidisciplinary team and other hospital department representatives through verbal reports and written documentation. - Participate in pre-admission evaluation as requested by the Program Manager and complete Admission Nursing Assessment on all new Admissions to C/A Residential I Partial Programs (Including ARCC). - Conduct monthly medication renewals and review daily reports. - Follow up on medical tests and labs. Oversee completion of admission paperwork. - Complete the medication portion of aftercare forms. - Track medical errors.
