Essential Duties and Task
- Supervise and lead groups of employees to achieve production tasks assigned by management.
- Operate machinery, equipment or use tools when necessary.
- Supervise to ensure that quality control, safety and company policies and procedures are followed.
- Fill out production reports and employee evaluation cards.
- Coach and/or discipline employees when required.
- Operate forklift or heavy-duty squeeze lift.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications, Education & Experience
- Knowledge of the company's manufacturing techniques and managerial skills required.
- Maintain strict confidentiality and protects privacy of confidential/sensitive information.
- Ability to communicate effectively (verbal, written) with staff, and internal/external clients.
- Proactive; exercises sound judgement and decision making; able to identify problems and needs and develop solutions and/or options.
- Must have the ability to work overtime as needed, including Saturdays and holidays.
- Must adhere to company policies, safety rules and regulations, wear PPE.
