Qualified Staffing is hiring a full time, temp to perm, HR Generalist for a school system inside Dekalb County! Our client is looking to hire an experienced and dedicated inpidual to assist in the growth and development of the school system.
Schedule: Mon-Fri 8am-5pm
Salary: $31,000-54,000, based on experience
JOB DUTIES:
- Assists the Chief HR officer in recruitment/selection of personnel
- Process, maintains and distributes employment applications
- Ensures compliance with all federal and state laws and regulations (ADA, FLSA, FMLA, Title VII, Title IX, etc.)
- Oversees the fingerprinting and background checks processes and ensures that the administrative assistant is in compliance with GBI; Manages the completion of 5-year anniversary background checks
- Responds to all employee inquiries regarding policies, processes, benefits, and all other employee matters
- Supervises the intake process for new hires ensuring that all new hires are properly on boarded having received all district disclaimers and disclosures and information on acceptable practices
SKILLS REQUIRED:
- Must have specific HR experience
- Strong knowledge of GA/Fed Reporting
- Strong knowledge of workflows and onboarding
