Quadrant Tool & Manufacturing is Hiring a Remote Customer Service / Inside Sales Representative

Our Company

Quadrant provides parts, complete assemblies, inspection equipment, and tooling to the automotive, aerospace, medical, food processing, electronic and automation industries. Our machining capabilities include CNC machining, CNC turning, wire EDM, CNC contour surface grinding, and tool room machining.

Job Description

The Customer Service Representative (CSR) is responsible for maintaining and strengthening the relationships between Quadrant and its customers. As a CSR, you will have 5-10 accounts that you'll be responsible for all communications, including quotes (with technical support), order placement, status updates, and expedite requests. Most customer interactions are through email (Outlook) and occasionally by phone. Our company uses ProShop as our ERP software, which includes every aspect of the business, and is very user-friendly. We are also striving to become a paperless company with the help of ProShop!

This is a critical function that requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to communicate clearly with teammates and customers with excellent writing and verbal skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Ask questions, be hungry to learn, and quick to pick-up new things
  • Facilitate the gathering of information from multiple team members for quotes
  • Enter sales orders and quotations into our ProShop computer system
  • Track orders internally and follow-up with scheduling and production to ensure on-time delivery
  • Perform other tasks to support the various functions of our customer service department
  • Always be looking for ways to improve our quoting and ordering processes
  • Help to create a fun and productive work environment!

Qualifications:

  • Ability to multi-task and handle a high volume of work in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience with customer service and customer communication is required
  • Familiarity with manufacturing drawings and part specifications is a plus
  • Motivated self-starter with excellent organizational skills
  • Able to make creative, timely and independent decisions
  • Computer literacy with Microsoft Office – Outlook, Word, Excel
  • Attention to detail when dealing with important customer specifications
  • Previous exposure to metal materials and CNC manufacturing would be ideal

Experience:

  • Customer Service / Account Management: 5 years (Required)
  • Manufacturing: 2 years (Preferred)
  • Familiarity with Steels, Aluminums, Other Metals (Bonus!)
  • Working knowledge of ProShop software (Bonus!)
