Job Summary: As an integral member of our team, the Project Coordinator plays a key role in supporting the project manager by facilitating the development, coordination, and successful implementation of all tasks.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Efficiently manage email correspondence, with a focus on prioritizing red alerts.
  • Maintain and update Excel trackers to ensure accurate project monitoring.
  • Proactively send reminders and requests to relevant stakeholders.
  • Conduct follow-ups on incomplete tasks and report deficiencies for timely resolution.
  • Review and audit various construction-related reports for accuracy.
  • Prepare for and actively participate in meetings, contributing valuable insights.
  • Facilitate preparations for departmental construction activities, including:
    • Generating construction documents.
    • Coordinating with internal and external parties, such as county jurisdictions.
    • Scheduling and coordinating construction-related logistics, such as equipment, sanitation, and accommodations.

  • Demonstrated aptitude in following written and verbal instructions.

  • Must be comfortable multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work independently with little instruction in a highly organized manner.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, adhering to timeframes/schedules set by management.
  • Ability to prioritize workload.
  • Strong decision-making skills.

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.

Education and Experience:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to transport items up to 15 pounds.
  • Must be able to conduct field work at various locations.
