FULL TIME STAFF PHYSICIAN (MD)

Whether you're a primary care doctor or a sub-specialist, finding the correct diagnosis and proper treatment for every patient is your passion. You believe all patients deserve access to world-leading experts. You're bright, intellectually curious, and can explain complex medical situations to patients with ease and confidence. You want to be a part of the healthcare solution.

You're a team player and enjoy working with patients and doctors. You're also excited to work with our other teams on projects, both big and small. Even while tackling large projects, there's no task too small for you - you'll roll up your sleeves to help out.

FULL TIME STAFF PHYSICIAN (MD), continued

Responsibilities:

Your role at Grand Rounds will be to help ensure patients understand the 'what', 'how' and 'why' of the medical recommendations they receive. You get to be the doctor you envisioned you would become when you signed up for medical school: one who is passionate about obtaining the right care for each patient and empowered with the time and tools to ensure every patient understands each step of their medical journey.

You will:

* Review and summarize medical records

* Review expert opinions to ensure they are written at the patient's level

* Follow up with patients/guardians to answer any questions they may have about the opinion

Additionally, you'll work with our current medical team to optimize our patients' experience. There are a number of ongoing projects you can collaborate on that can be tailored to your skills and interests (quality improvement initiatives, patient experience projects, etc.)

Desired Skills and Experience:

An ideal candidate is a physician who has completed his/her residency and practiced for at least several years.

Applicant must:

* Be a licensed physician in good standing with the medical board of his/her state

* Have completed internship

* Be board certified (or board-eligible if taking boards this year)

* Be conversational or fluent in Spanish (strongly suggested, not required)

* Excel at communicating with patients and physicians, and enjoy doing so

* Have excellent grammar, attention to detail, and be efficient at writing medical information at a patient level

* Be pleasant, responsive and willing to work with and learn from our team

* Strictly follow security and HIPAA regulations to protect our patients' medical information

Staff Physicians are integral members of the Grand Rounds team. Positions are available to work full-time in-office at our beautiful San Francisco headquarters or at our Reno, NV office.
