QSI Companies is Hiring an Alarm Technician Near Raleigh, NC

QSI Companies is a Southeast Regional Burglar Alarm Company that is rapidly growing. We are seeking an experienced full time Alarm Technician/Home Integrator's for our Raleigh Office. This position will work in our Service Department performing service work. You must be able to do service work on a variety of alarm systems, audio/video systems and installation and service of home automation products. Advanced knowledge of security systems is required for employment. Meeting with customers will be a large part of this position. Installation and programming knowledge of home automation systems is preferred. Some service calls may need to be answered after hours and on weekends. Company provides tools, uniforms, cell phone and a vehicle.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Energetic and self motivated
  • Good written and communication skills
  • Attend training and meetings as required
  • Maintain and submit accurate and timely documentation
  • Good computer skills
  • Maintain a work vehicle with supplies, tools and equipment
  • Perform customer service calls
  • Must be able to perform basic security system maintenance
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Must be able to read diagrams and blueprints
  • Basic understanding of local codes
  • Work overtime on an as needed basis
  • Maintain good driving record

Requirements

  • 5-7 years of experience with security systems
  • This job will require traveling and overnight trips
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Drivers license with a clean driving record
  • Additional Certifications a plus

This position requires a pre-employment drug test

Pay: $52,000.00 - $58,000.00 per year
