Product Marketing Manager, Power Device Solutions (PDS)

Qorvo’s cutting-edge portfolio of silicon carbide (SiC) FETs, power modules, JFETs, and Schottky diodes sets the standard for high efficiency in advanced power conversion applications. Responsibilities:

This position reports to the General Manager of the Power Device Solutions business within Qorvo. The role includes leading, managing, and growing the marketing function within the Power Device Solutions business unit.

  • Accountable for the annual revenue plan, funnel growth and meeting product margin expectations for the product line
  • Defines the new product development strategy and technology, product roadmaps in support of the multi-year business objectives (organic and inorganic growth) with strong consultation with the engineering and sales teams.
  • Establishes and maintains key customer, partner relationships at the strategic and tactical level to fully understand the market, customer requirements to develop new business opportunities
  • Responsible for business projects, develop business case, cost models, competitive analysis, checklist items etc,
  • Monitors and communicates overall market conditions, SAM, and competitor trends; incorporate in business unit strategy planning
  • Manages alignment with worldwide sales team
  • Proposes and provided business justification for new products and projects to enable long term growth of the business.

Requirements:

  • Requires at least 10 years of experience in a power electronics role (design, product engineering, applications engineering, marketing, business development etc)
  • High level understanding of Power Systems from the system design level to the various components which make up the system
  • Ability to read and understand customer specifications and requirements and ability to write proposal responses to these statements of work
  • Ability to share and teach internal and external customers on the technology tradeoffs

Leadership Experience:

  • Demonstrated experience and ability to coach individual contributors and improve overall marketing team performance
  • Proven ability to influence and drive internal and external customers and cross-functional teams without formal authority
  • Have led internal process and productivity improvement projects

Desired experiences:

  • Demonstrated successful execution of customer growth that delivered measurable business results
  • Excellent communication, meeting facilitation and presentation skills
  • Good analytical and business skills
  • Position will require travel

Required Education & Experience:

  • BS Electrical Engineering or similar with 10 or more years of experience
