We are seeking an organized, analytical-minded and detail oriented Computer Programmer to join Team QLI.

QLI is a national leader in providing a comprehensive approach to the therapeutic process of a person recovering from the effects of a spinal cord or traumatic brain injury. We are a passionate and mission-focused team committed to delivering life-changing rehabilitation and care.

As a Computer Programmer at QLI, you will play a pivotal role in the creation of innovative software solutions, guiding them from conception through to deployment. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, you will immerse yourself in dynamic projects, leveraging your expertise to deliver exceptional software products.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with diverse teams to understand project requirements and translate them into comprehensive technical blueprints.
• Design, code, and meticulously test software applications across multiple platforms, ensuring their robustness and scalability.
• Develop clean, efficient, and sustainable code in adherence to industry best practices and coding standards.
• Confront technical challenges head-on, adeptly troubleshooting and debugging code to deliver effective solutions.
• Remain abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends, infusing innovation into our projects to maintain our competitive edge.
• Embrace agile methodologies, strictly adhering to established processes to ensure the streamlined delivery of projects.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Demonstrated experience as a software developer, showcasing proficiency in one or more programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, C , etc.).
• Thorough understanding of the software development lifecycle and methodologies.
• Strong grasp of software engineering principles, encompassing data structures and algorithms.
• Proficiency in a variety of software development tools and technologies, including version control systems (e.g., Git), IDEs, and testing frameworks.
• Exceptional problem-solving abilities and acute attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills, facilitating effective collaboration with colleagues and stakeholders.
• Capacity to work independently and adeptly manage multiple tasks.
• Basic understanding of mobile and web development concepts and principles.
• Familiarity with programming languages commonly utilized in mobile and web development (e.g., Java, Kotlin, Swift, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, etc.).
• Experience with mobile application development frameworks and platforms (e.g., Android Studio, Xcode, React Native, Flutter, etc.).

Vaccination Requirements: Annual flu vaccine is required during flu season. If needed, we will provide vaccination at QLI, free of charge.

Schedule: Monday through Friday (w/occasional weekends)
