Job Description – Project Contracts Administrator – SunZia ProjectGeneral DescriptionQuanta Infrastructure Solutions Group, LLC (QISG) is a Quanta Services, Inc. company (NYSE: PWR). This Contracts Administrator position is responsible for assisting with the processing and tracking workflows around customer contracts and subcontracts for the SunZia Project from the initial draft through completion of the project execution phase. The position will report to the Senior Contracts Manager for the SunZia Project. The Contracts Administrator will be assigned to other projects following the completion of the SunZia Project. Duties
  • Assist the Senior Contracts Manager in all areas of contract management as directed.
  • Assist with drafting, reviewing, and tracking customer contracts and subcontracts.
  • Draft notices and negotiate and draft change orders.
  • Track “lessons learned” and assist with the development of trackers for contract management.
  • Review contracts to ensure adherence to risk mitigation requirements.
  • Assist with negotiating any delay and/or cost settlement agreements.
  • Track, organize and save documents in appropriate file locations.
  • Assist with populating contract templates with appropriate project and third-party information and distribute to internal stakeholders and third-party partners for their review and comment.
  • Review and verify terms of certificates of insurance received from subcontractors and other third parties.
  • Review and verify lien waivers and assist with invoicing, as needed.
  • Perform special projects and complete other duties as assigned or requested.
Required Experience and Education
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; related work experience may be substituted.
  • 5 years of contracts experience in the construction/services industry required, with a focus on contracts and subcontracts management.
  • Experience related to Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) projects required, and experience in the electric power industry (transmission and distribution) strongly preferred.
Skills
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (familiarity with In-Eight, Avetta and/or Procore preferred).
  • Superior organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Self-starter who can work independently with little direction while supporting the needs of the team.
  • Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal).
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.
  • Demonstrated ability to multitask.
  • Effective time management skills.

  • Percent of Time: 25% (primarily to Scottsdale, AZ office)
