Position Overview

We have an immediate opening for a Sr. Systems Engineer - SharePoint Architect/Developer supporting our Government Client in Reston, VA.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the implementation of the organizational SharePoint solutions.
• Enhance the structure, user interface, and accessibility to improve document sharing and collaboration across the organization
• Maintain and enhance the components, look, and feel of the parent site and sub-sites
• Implement SharePoint workflow to automate various business processes
• Architect, design, test, and implement multiple on-premise SharePoint solutions
• Develop user-centric and aesthetic SP sites by applying common functionalities including, but not limited to, workflows, forms, permissions, etc.
• Define, develop, implement and document the management requirements of the document management capability, e.g., custom content types, policies and metadata
• Create web-oriented applications, developing coding constructs, frameworks, components and interfaces supported by the SharePoint environment
• Work with users and technical staff across the organization to understand needs, collect requirements and translate those needs into technical solutions using SharePoint
• Provide technical assistance by responding to inquiries regarding errors, problems, or questions with SP
• Investigate, analyze, document, and correct reported defects
• Interact with clients throughout project lifecycle and serve as the technical and functional subject matter expert for SP-based solutions internally and externally
• Assist in the development of training documentation and provide training for developed solutions

Required Qualifications

• Have a minimum of five years of experience working with MS SharePoint
• Be certified as an Administrator on Microsoft SharePoint
• Experience of SharePoint security and networking configurations
• Experience in full lifecycle systems engineering and project management of systems supporting technical mission sets
• Experience in the planning and execution of special projects includingcomposing summary analysis reports and advising government on feasibility risk, budget and schedules
• At least 10 years of experience (may be concurrent with systems engineering)developing solutions
• Bachelor's degree in STEM Field.
• Current DoD TS/SCI Clearance with CI poly or ability to obtain prior to start #qinetiqclearedjob
• Successful Completion of Pre-Employment Background Investigation required

Preferred Qualifications

• Current TS/SCI Clearance with CI poly
• Extensive SharePoint metadata and content management expertise
• Extensive knowledge and experience of developing secure intranet and extranet portals and external web sites.
• Experience of designing and developing metadata configuration, site configuration, lists, content types, workflows, web parts, and other components
• Experience with creating and modifying master layout pages, web parts and other components
• Experience and knowledge of on-premise SharePoint 2016 and later
• Experience building web-based systems with the Microsoft .Net technology stack employing the best practices of SOA architecture using C#, VB.Net, and ASP.Net
• Experience with CSS, HTML, JavaScript, JQuery, and Angular
• Experience and knowledge of SQL and Microsoft SQL Server database software
• Experience and knowledge of Internet Information Services
• Experience and knowledge of Active Directory Domain Services
