Position Overview

QinetiQ US is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to support a DoD client in the Strategic Capabilities Office (SCO). The highly motivated candidate will provide financial expertise to Program Managers (PM) through all stages of the program life cycle to managers can effectively plan and administer their programs and meet both office and agency execution benchmarks.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and track financial and budgetary data.
• Gather information and assist in preparing task order specific financial execution documentation for Purchase Requests and Military Interdepartmental Purchase Requests (MIPR)
• Prepare, update, and track program plans.
• Work with Government and Contractor PM(s), agents, performing contractors, and transition partners to gather accurate financial data.
• Work effectively with the office finance team to support multiple programs and tasks.

Required Qualifications

• Secret security clearance; #qinetiqclearedjob
• Bachelors Degree. Degree requirement waived in lieu of significant recent and relevant work experience
• Minimum of 15 years’ active-duty military or minimum of 15 years’ finance experience.
• Proficient in financial management. Ability to pull together financial charts, trends, understand programmatics from a financial viewpoint.
• Excellent communication skills, ability to work in a team environment, and be independently motivated.
• Must reside within commuting distance to the Washington, DC National Capitol Region

Preferred Qualifications

• Top Secret/SCI clearance
• Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Expertise in working in the Defense Agency Initiative (DAI)
