Position Overview

We are recruiting for DevOps Engineers who will be responsible for enabling agile big-data systems by utilizing a wide array of technical skills. 

Responsibilities

DevOps Engineers will assist with leveraging and developing automation, testing, and analysis tools that exercise the functional requirements of customer provided software in a broad range of tailored operating environments. They complete projects individually with time sensitive deadlines. DevOps Engineers also communicate with customer developers, operators, and other supported elements. Strong candidates will be placed on smaller teams with less support and more sensitive missions. 

Required Qualifications

• Python development OR another experience with another programming language
• Linux Operating Systems OR significant experience in administration and automation with another Operating System
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, IT, Mathematics or equivalent experience
• Active Top Secret clearance is required. Must be willing to undergo Polygraph examination #qinetiqclearedjob 

Preferred Qualifications

• Automated Scripting of System Administration tasks (Bash scripting, for example)
• Software Development
• Software Automation 
• Systems Administration
• Familiarity with multiple operating systems (Linux, Windows, Mac)
• Familiarity with embedded/IOT, mobile devices (development/testing), networking
