QDI Stone is Hiring a Customer Service Rep (Bilingual) Near Dallas, TX

QDI Surfaces in Dallas is currently seeking a dedicated and motivated Customer Service Representative to join our team and work in our Contractor Office. This would be a non-supervisory position but will be a very vital part of our company's success. This is a remarkably diverse role and will include handling everything from answering phones, greeting customers, entering sales/sample orders, taking payments as well as assisting our Sales team with quotes order and product inquiries. This is NOT a call center role. The job functions would include but are not limited to:

  • Be familiar with QDI’s products and be able to describe colors, styles, and highlight the features and benefits to customers
  • Have a basic understanding of travertine, limestone, and marble and their differences
  • Understand the sales process from start to finish
  • Greeting and assisting customers that come into the office or contact the Company via phone or email
  • Enter Sales Orders using computer systems (hardware and software)
  • Refer customers to a Sales Representative when they are onsite and available
  • Answer all customer questions about products, prices, availability, product uses, and available options
  • Coordinate customer material pick-ups with warehouse personnel
  • Develop and maintain a constructive and cooperative working relationship with other QDI employees
  • Attend regular CRS training meetings and dedicate yourself to continuous improvement

Successful candidates will have the following:

  • 2-5 years in a customer service or office manager role and preferably natural stone industry experience.
  • Well organized, self-disciplined, and motivated - Attention to detail a must.
  • Excellent time management
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Easily adapts to change
  • Innovative
  • Outstanding customer service skills
  • Professional appearance
  • Good presentation skills
  • Problem-solving skills with the habit of being proactive
