Job Description: The process of verifying that Q.E.D. Systems is following established procurement procedures. This includes verifying that Purchase Orders are awarded in a fair and equitable manner, identifying potential errors in required documents, and ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations (FAR/DFARS). Perform monthly FFATA reporting, and monthly training for buyers.
Position requires personnel to review purchase order documents daily and provide positive feedback to buyers. Incumbent would be required to enter data into the government FFATA site monthly. Incumbent would be required to perform basic QED training as necessary and perform additional NCMA training as requested by management.
Must be able to work independently with general supervision, exercise judgment within defined guidelines and practices to determine appropriate action. May be required to provide guidance and assistance to purchasing personnel.
Must be an engaged and detail-oriented individual demonstrating the ability to take ownership of and complete assigned tasks.
Job Requirements/skill sets:
Education Requirements: College degree or five years government acquisition experience.
Security Clearance/Naval Facility Access: U.S. citizenship required.
