**Job Overview:** We are seeking a skilled Desktop Support Technician to provide technical assistance to our organization's computer users. The ideal candidate will have a strong IT support background and excellent problem-solving skills. **Responsibilities:** - Provide technical support for desktop hardware and software issues - Analyze and resolve technical problems efficiently - Set up and configure VPN connections - Support Linux and Windows operating systems - Assist with firewall configurations and troubleshooting - Communicate effectively with end-users to provide assistance - Ensure customer service excellence in all interactions **Requirements:** - Proven experience in IT support or a related field - Strong knowledge of computer hardware and software systems - Familiarity with VPN setup and troubleshooting - Proficiency in Linux and Windows operating systems - Ability to provide technical support for various applications - Excellent customer service and communication skills - Understanding of firewall concepts and configurations - Ability to work independently and as part of a team This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated Desktop Support Technician to join our team and contribute to the smooth operation of our IT systems.
