The Opportunity:

This is a great opportunity to join our Indianapolis team as a CNC Programmer. We are seeking skilled programmers with milling experience in a high-speed machining environment. Qualified applicants will program a variety of complex, aerospace and motorsport components to be produced in either our Indianapolis facility or supporting our Australian facility. This role requires a self-starter that requires minimal supervision, looking to develop professionally alongside a fast-growing company where they can contribute their skills.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Ability to work from detailed drawings to high quality standards
  • Troubleshoot problematic scenarios associated with programming projects.
  • Share information both in person and through remote/electronic conversations
  • Commitment to quality and pride in workmanship
  • Commitment to safe and orderly workplace
  • Ability to handle multiple and frequently changing priorities
  • Maintain the security and confidentiality of customer and internal products and documentation
  • Comply with all security policies and procedures
  • Occasional overtime and weekend work when required to meet deadlines
  • Provide process improvement feedback to improve machine processes/ways to reduce wasted time and scrap

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent and experience in CNC programming/simulation software
  • 3 years programming experience using CAM software such as Mastercam 2021 or similar software
  • Experience with 5 axis CNC programming/simulation software
  • Ability to work in both Metric and Imperial systems
  • Ability to read, write and perform basic-intermediate math
  • This role is restricted to U.S. persons (i.e., U.S. citizens, permanent residents, and other protected individuals under the Immigration and Naturalization Act, 8 U. S.C. 1324b(a)(3)) due to access to export-controlled technology. PWR will require proof of status prior to employment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience using simulation software like NCSIMUL
  • Experience with “one-off” parts with close tolerances
