Position: Cincinnati Inside Sales / Customer Service Representative

Description: The Cincinnati Inside Sales/Customer Service Rep is responsible for maintaining the high-quality standards we have at PVS Nolwood, with focus on supporting the outside sales reps, inside customer service reps as well as cold calling and maintaining Cincinnati House accounts. Due to the nature of the position the Cincinnati Inside Sales/Customer Service Rep will be required to work on site in the office most of the time. They will also be required to spend time off site with sales reps on sales calls and at sales meetings from time to time.

Responsibilities (May include but not limited to):

  • Serve as the inside sales associate (house accounts).
  • Serve as the liaison between outside sales and the customer service department.
  • Fill in for Customer Service Reps vacations/sick days.
  • Support Sales Reps as needed.
  • Assist sales reps in the bidding process.
  • Support any internal needs for the branch during the new ERP/CRM launch to ensure customers continue to be served.
  • Assist with various projects that arise from customers, PVS Sales Team or Management
  • Gather information on e-marketing and it’s benefits for PVS Nolwood
  • Attend all sales meetings to build relationships with the reps, identify their needs.
  • Assist with customer surveys and help provide timely feedback.
  • Support Sales Reps/Sales Manager while on vacation
  • Follow up on Website Inquires

Required Education / Training / Equivalent Experience (Prior to hire / transfer):

  • Four-year college degree or equivalent experience
  • Basic awareness of Responsible Distribution Process
  • Excellent communication skills – written and verbal.
  • People/team oriented
  • Strong interpersonal and analytical skills
  • Able to work effectively with competing priorities.
  • Good working knowledge of MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Has strong attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to develop long term relationships with customers.
  • High level of motivation

OJT (Required within the initial employment period – varies per position and experience)

  • Applicable ERP, CRM, and Microsoft program skills
  • Service Report system
  • Understand all applicable procedures, work instructions, forms, checklists, etc.
  • Knowledgeable of all plant departments and specific functions
  • Knowledgeable of plant emergency and security procedures
  • Training requirements from the New Employee Checklist

Compensation is based upon previous experience and the ability to succeed both within our organization as well as in the current territory. Health and Dental benefits, Life Insurance, Profit Sharing, and 401(k) participation is also provided. Applicants must be able to pass a drug screen and background check.
