Job Title : BOH Shift Leader

Location : Tampa, FL

Salary : $17 - $21 / hour

Overview :

The BOH shift lead position is an entry management position reporting to the General Manager. They will work in partnership with the owners, operations manager, general manager, cooks, and general personnel.

The position is required to ensure a sense of culture, care, policy, procedure, and profitability.

This position will partner with the General Manager to assist in the implementation and sustained use of all in house policies and procedures.

• Serves as direct contact to manager
• Will assist manager with all menu changes & being taught to all employees
• Helps to inform all employees of events, specials and out of stock items
• Helps to maintain a system of regular communication of company objectives, changes and concerns to all employees
• Helps to oversee onsite events to include schedule, follow up, confirmation and staffing
• Oversees that all opening and closing side work is done properly and to specification and will hold employees accountable if not done to standards
• Oversees the setup, cleanliness and upkeep of the container and general area
• Ensures that all inventory control systems are in place and maintained (Prep Sheets, Waste Logs, Inventory, Ordering Sheets)
• Ensures that a culture of care is being implemented and used with all employees
• Ensure that if the manager is not on site that any and all invoices get sent over and / or organized in timely fashion
• Ensures that all orders / deliveries get put away properly using FIFO
• Responsible that any food waste gets inputted into waste log
• Ensures that inventory / ordering for US Foods and Sanwa order is completed
• Ensures that all prep lists are written with accuracy
• Responsible for completing day to day tasks. example : prepping in the container, opening the restaurant in a timely manner, closing the restaurant in a timely manner and completing daily tasks given by the general manager.
