Purposive Consulting is Hiring an Inventory Manager - Warehouse Grow with us! Near Burlington, NJ

Our client, a rapidly growing luxury glass tile distribution company, is seeking an experienced Inventory Manager to oversee and manage the inventory process, ensuring maximum efficiency and accuracy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all inventory control, managing and monitoring the life cycle of products in the inventory.
  • Lead and manage a small team, ensuring efficient operations on the floor and administrative tasks related to inventory.
  • Ensure all inventory transactions and related communications are managed efficiently.
  • Act promptly to address any damages; inspect and devise solutions to ensure damaged items are removed from the shelves immediately.
  • Assess damaged items and determine usability, whether it’s for samples or if it's sellable, depending on product type and make.
  • Handle inventory adjustments, ensuring that products are accounted for and any discrepancies are rectified in a timely manner.
  • Ensure that sample departments receive the necessary products, both small and large items.
  • Streamline and implement processes to maintain organization and clarity in the inventory system.
  • Conduct investigations on inventory discrepancies and troubleshoot various inventory issues.
  • Assist in the implementation of stepping stone WMS systems, as well as any future full-fledged inventory systems.
  • Collaborate with supervisors and other departments, ensuring the efficient operation of the inventory process.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in inventory management or related field.
  • Understanding of inventory processes in manual operation setups with a vision to transition towards more automated systems in the future.
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills.
  • Ability to handle physical inventory counts and resolve discrepancies.
  • Experience in implementing inventory or WMS systems would be an advantage.
